I’m lying propped up in my bed, laptop on my chest, working on my first feature length script.

The house is quiet except for the sound of the tv in the livingroom through the wall.

It’s Friday night and I purposely have nothing to do.

I’m about 4 months until departure to LA and I’ve got alot to do before then.

It doesn’t feel like it though. But then, we’re calling this day 1.

Clean slate. No history.

I’m working on getting my mind in the right place, or the write place, if you will. I have tomorrow off and I’m hoping it’ll be productive.

I’ve got alot of things on my mind this Friday evening as I lay alone in my bed.

What will happen in four months? What will I become?
Will I be forgotten? Will I be talked about around the town?
Will I make my place in LA? Will I have to run home?

What will happen in four days? Four hours? Four minutes?

I’ve got a way of thinking sporadically. Hard to focus on free nights like this.

So. I’ve decided to start up a video diary soon. I want to catalog my trip out west, the start of my new life and the adventures inherent in my life.

So, look for that coming in a month or two. For now, I’ll be updating my preparatory rituals as I ready myself for the journey.

For tonight, I think I’m going to attempt sleep to be better prepared tomorrow.
